- Monster Defense per hit reduces a monster's defense when attacked (a successful hit is not required) by a player or mercenary supplying it, affecting chance to hit of any subsequent attacks made by any player, mercenary, or pet. [1] [2]
- Duration is presumably infinite, lasting until the monster is unloaded by having all players leave the area for a short period of time.
- When on a weapon, it applies only to attacks (including Dragon Talon, Dragon Tail and Dragon Flight) made using that weapon. [3]
- Not applied by Smite.
- It is applied before the Stone Skin Unique bonus, and any subsequent +% Defense.
- Chance to hit displayed by character screen when cursor is over Attack Rating field does not take it into account.
