Damage Resist

• Damage Resist % or Damage Reduced by % applies to any physical damage remaining after Damage Reduced.
• Does not apply to Sacrifice damage to self. [1]
• DR 50% ceiling normally applies to players and hirelings, while DR -100% floor applies to all units. Ceiling does not apply to Crushing Blow: DR >99% results in immunity to Crushing Blow.
• Casting Amplify Damage (DR -100%) or Decrepify (DR -50%) will reduce DR %, although DR <0% will not increase Crushing Blow damage (both are still fully effective when cast on a player or hireling equipping DR >99%). Percentage is reduced to 1/5 when monster is Immune to Physical (DR >99%).
• Sanctuary may normally pierce DR % of Undead, but this does not apply to Crushing Blow: Immune to Physical Undead will remain immune to Crushing Blow. [2] [3]
