ABOUT US

First and foremost, The Basin is a community of friends, playing games. We aim to serve as a safe haven against cheating, racism, bigotry, hatred, and unfair gameplay. Our members conduct themselves in a manner which promotes the fun of the game, for everyone.

Co-operative play is the norm here. Everyone helps each other. Generosity, trustworthiness, kindness, respect, and honesty are our treasured values. Although we take those things very seriously, the majority of our time is spent laughing, joking with one another, and having a good time - in games, and in our forums.

Because we are a group of friends first, and a guild second, we are selective about who we bring into our fold. We insist on getting to know people by playing with them and having them interact with us in our forums, before we invite them into the guild. However, our groups and in-game activities are open to everyone who takes part in our community, whether or not they have been formally invited into the guild.

We do not confine ourselves to any single race, profession, or gameplay style. We hope you'll find a warm welcome.

The Basin is part of a multi-gaming community, The Amazon Basin. Our administrative positions, what few there are, are staffed by volunteers. Our server hosting bills are also paid by donations from within the overall community.
