In case the original gets wiped... credit for the original post (between the horizontal lines, please format any edits in that region) is due to Maureena from the official Beta forums.
This has been reposted on the official forums by Enderwere (presumably Maureena resurrected) here. --Olon97 17:48, 10 Dec 2004 (MST)
Note: This is all theoretical work using numbers from Thottbott. I have not gone in game to confirm the numbers etc as I'm at work but I thought people might find this interesting. For weapons that base their damage off of your weapons dmg I gave 4 data sets to show how 1h weapons compare to 2h weapons with the ability. Also I don't know exactly which abilities can and can't crit and if some abilities ignore AC etc.
Bread and Butter Moves
Slam - weapon dmg + 87, 15 rage 1.5 cast. This gets interrupted like a caster so while the DPR looks amazing keep in mind its not terribly useful when you are getting hit and with the talent change this isn't really useful in pvp. Also further testing shows it now delays your next attack 1.5 second, which means its DPR is much lower than whats listed.
50 dmg - 137/15= 9.1 DPR
100 dmg - 187/15= 12.5 DPR
200 dmg - 287/15= 19.1 DPR
300 dmg - 387/15= 25.8 DPR

124/25= 5.0 DPR
