Connor: Well, that Demon was dead, all right. Put Emmera in a right fuss.
Connor: Don't know why the girl was so broken up after realizing a dead thing was still dead, but I suppose we all hold on to hope in different ways.
Connor: It would have been interesting if things turned out the other way.
Connor: My Da's dead, you know?
Connor: Yep. He was decomposing when I was conceived, but he still held onto his soul long enough to pop me into Ma.
Connor: Didn't end well for her, though. She got staked in the heart while in labor.
Connor: Anyway! Want to go kill Beguiler in Trinity Square for me?
Connor: Turns out Emmera isn't too thrilled about this fully dead variety of Demon running amok in her neighborhood.
Connor: Good. That's one less Demon to worry about.
