Lann is not soft by any metric. Lann is a Templar extremist, a man who has spoken the words of a zealot for so long it has left him utterly blind to life beyond Templar canon. He lives by the code and seeks only the destruction of Demonkind.
But, perhaps, even in working to achieve so noble a goal, Lann's steadfast fanaticism will be detrimental to his cause.
