The Priest class is the master of healing, crowd control, and hate control. Other classes such as the Shaman, Druid, and Paladin can heal, but not as well as the Priest. With engineering the priest could make many cool trinkets, have battle pets or non-combat mechanical pets, make unique head gears (many have wait for head pieces to drop early on, but you could be wearing the Flying Tiger Goggles), make field repair bots (the Molten Core teammates would love you more). A parachute cloak might just be a life-saver when you jumped a cliff and ran out of the light feathers needed for levitation. When you have to make it to Gadgetzan fast to save your warrior friend’s butt in PVP, try out the “Ultrasafe Transporter – Gadgetzan” (if you pick the other branch of Engineering you could learn to transport to Everlook, so just as useful)

Useful combinations of tradeskills for a Priest are as follows:

  • Herbalism and Alchemy: Excellent for those who need mana boost during battle, or an extra buff from potions prior to battle. Shadow Protection/Fire Protection Potions and others are very helpful in level 60+ instances.
  • Skinning and Tailoring: Sew your own armor to wear or sell; the leathers you skin help in making boots, and bags for some income if not for your own use. Sell/trade extra leathers to quickly advance in tailoring. In theory, you want to be able to make stuffs 1-2 levels higher than you current level. When a tailor gets to level 35, he/she would want to be able to make mooncloths right away and save them for Mooncloth Robe, Mooncloth Gloves, Mooncloth Boots…
