(Added a note about this bug being fixed in D2R patch 2.8, it notably happened to mercs wielding Infinity and encountering a Conviction enchanted unique in Terror Zones, where they could reach level 12 Conviction and thus the merc would be affected by the unique's Conviction until he died or the player unequipped his Infinity.)
