Scarlet Monastery

The Scarlet Monastary is located in North east Trisfal Glades. It is a long run from Southshore, the nearest Alliance town, and a short run from Undercity. The Scarlet Monastary is made up of 4 separate instances. They are the Graveyard, the Library, the Armory, and the Chapel. The Graveyard has no regular blue drops but has a very high rate of dropping magical items. The other three sections each have at least one main boss with a few smaller boss type mobs scattered about. In general each area is small, linear and highly populated with mobs.

Quests

The level listed before the quest is the level at which the quest can be obtained.

Class quests

30 (40) Rituals of Power - This is a Mage class quest. It is obtained from Magus Tirth in the goblin town in the Shimmering Flats (tloc 76,76; however, it is the third step in a series that starts by first seeing Tabetha. (Hint for the second step: /beckon "Plucky".) The objective is to get a book from the Library section of the Scarlet Monastary and bring it to Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh. Tabetha is somewhere around tloc 46,57 in the marsh.

Alliance quests

28 (38) Mythology of the Titans - This quest can be found from Librarian Mae Paledust in the Explorer's league section of Ironforge. The reward is the Explorers' League Commendation amulet. This quest reward is often times a character's first neck piece. The book needed to complete this quest can be found in the Library section of the Monastary.

34 (40) In the Name of the Light - This quest is in a line that is started in the basement of the Cathedral in Stormwind. The starter quest is Down the Scarlet Path in which you are sent to Southshore in Hillsbrad foothills. To complete this quest you must kill 4 mobs inside 3 of the parts of the Scarlet Monastary. Houndmaster Loksey is in the Library section, Herod is in the Armory section while High Inquisitor Whitemane and Scarlet Commander Mograine are in the Chapel portion. The rewards for this quest are the Sword of Serenity, Bonebiter Axe, Black Menace Dagger, or the Orb of Lorica.

33 (37) Hearts of Zeal - This quest is obtained in the Undercity.

32 (36) Test of Lore - This quest is obtained in Thousand Needles

28 (38) Compendium of the Fallen - This quest is obtained in Thunder Bluff.
