Mini-games in Hellgate: London are small, optional, and random, missions with an item reward if completed. A new mini-game is randomly generated each time a player leaves a station, regardless how much the player had progressed on the former mini-game when entering the station. Therefore, a mini-game always has to be completed while outside a station, and will never span several stations. The item reward for completing a mini-game is a few random items of the higher quality levels.
Objective system
Mini-games use a special system and a game is finished when three requirements are fulfilled, and they can be of four different kinds:
- Killing X number of monsters with some damage type.
- Killing Y foes of some monster type.
- Looting Z item types from a monster.
- Finishing any quest objective.
Here's a table representing the various requirements. The numbers inside each icon represent the amount left to kill of/with that type. If there is no number, there is only one left of the type.
These are then combined in any way for a particular mini-game.
