Template:D2 Nav Diablo II is an action role playing game (ARPG), the sequel to the highly popular Diablo (1996). Blizzard North released Diablo II 1.0 on 29 June 2000, with the Lord of Destruction expansion (1.07) being released the following year in the summer of 2001. In addition to adding a significant amount of content with the expansion pack, Blizzard also made several game-altering patches (notably 1.09, 1.10 and 1.13) which added items, changed game balance, modified game mechanics, and brought a new feel with these changes. All of these updates are under their free <Battle.net> on-line gaming service.
Consult our Welcome Mat to learn more about the Amazon Basin, and WikiFAQ to learn more about this Wiki. Unless stated otherwise, all content is for single-player and Ladder games of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction 1.13 and is intended to supplement the manual and the Arreat Summit, the official site. Any information quoted directly from the AS (typically lore) will be in Template:D2 Unique.
