Chipped gems can drop from monsters or a [[Shrine#Gem Shrine|Gem Shrine]] when there are no gems in inventory. They require one inventory space and cannot be stacked, and they can be sold to any vendor in town for 250 [[gold]] (500 for a [[Chipped Skull]]).
