Detail Stat Value -% Enemy Cold Resistance 15 + (5*slvl) Reduces Cold Resist of targets when Sorceress applies Cold Damage and cold or freeze length to them. Does not apply to Immune to Cold targets, or to cold damage and cold or freeze length applied by allied players, mercenaries or pets. Applies to sundered enemies at 1/5 effectiveness (D2R only). CR % reduces both cold damage and cold length or freeze length: reducing a target to the Resist -100% floor doubles cold damage and cold or freeze length. Level >17 (-100% ECR) is potentially redundant against monsters, while level >37 (-200% ECR) is always redundant against non-sundered monsters. However, higher levels may still be useful against players and mercenaries applying excess CR %: a player applying CR 350% in Hell (CR -100%) would still have CR 50% after level 37 CM was applied, halving cold damage and cold length. Higher levels are still useful against sundered enemies because of the 1/5 penalty. Source Skill bonus +(1-3) Cold Mastery (Sorceress Only) can spawn on ilvl >36 orbs and staves.
