Note: This is all theoretical work using numbers from Thottbott. I have not gone in game to confirm the numbers etc as I'm at work but I thought people might find this interesting. For weapons that base their damage off of your weapons dmg I gave 4 data sets to show how 1h weapons compare to 2h weapons with the ability. Also I don't know exactly which abilities can and can't crit and if some abilities ignore AC etc.

Bread and Butter Moves

Slam - weapon dmg + 87, 15 rage 1.5 cast. This gets interrupted like a caster so while the DPR looks amazing keep in mind its not terribly useful when you are getting hit and with the talent change this isn't really useful in pvp. Also further testing shows it now delays your next attack 1.5 second, which means its DPR is much lower than whats listed.

50 dmg - 137/15= 9.1 DPR

100 dmg - 187/15= 12.5 DPR

200 dmg - 287/15= 19.1 DPR

300 dmg - 387/15= 25.8 DPR

Mortal Strike - 2 times weapon dmg, 30 rage, 6 sec cooldown

50 dmg - 100/30= 3.3 DPR

100 dmg - 200/30= 6.7 DPR

200 dmg - 400/30= 13.3 DPR

300 dmg - 600/30= 20 DPR

Rend - 196 - 10 rage, 21 sec, cannot crit

[edit: 147/10=14.7 DPR without talent - Olon]

196/10=19.6 DPR

Heroic Strike - 124, 15 rage next attack, The bonus dmg DOES crit, my bad. Note heroic strike makes your next attack not generate rage, this generally costs you 5-15 additional rage so I included 4 DPS numbers for it.

124/15= 8.3 DPR

124/20= 6.2 DPR

124/25= 5.0 DPR

124/30= 4.1 DPR

Situational Skills

Revenge - 64-78, 5 rage, 5 sec cooldown, cannot crit?

64/5=12.8 DPR

78/5=15.6 DPR

12.8-15.6 DPR

Overpower - 100%+35 - 5 rage, 5 sec cool down.

50 dmg - 85/5= 17 DPR

100 dmg - 135/5= 27 DPR

200 dmg - 235/5= 47 DPR

300 dmg - 335/5= 67 DPR

Execute - 600+15 per rage, 15 rage, i think this can crit? [edit: yes it can - Olon]

600/15= 40 DPR + 15 DPR for each additional rage.

Area Effect moves

Thunder Clap - 62x4, 20 rage, cannot crit?

248/20= 12.4 DPR

124/20= 6.2 DPR

Whirlwind - weapon dmg x 4, 25 rage, 10 sec cooldown, can this crit?

50 dmg - 200/25= 8 DPR

100 dmg - 400/25= 16 DPR

200 dmg - 800/25= 32 DPR

300 dmg - 1200/25= 48 DPR

Cleave - weapon+50 to 2 targets, 20 rage, next attack. Like heroic strike this does not generate rage on a hit so the actual DPR's are worse than whats listed.

50 dmg - 200/20= 10 DPR

100 dmg - 300/20= 15 DPR

200 dmg - 500/20= 25 DPR

300 dmg = 700/20= 35 DPR

Sweeping Strike - 5 attacks, 30 rage, 30 sec cooldown

50 dmg - 250/30= 8.3 DPR

100 dmg - 500/30= 16.7 DPR

200 dmg - 1000/30= 33.3 DPR

300 dmg - 1500/30=50 DPR

Utility Moves

Hamstring - 45, 10 rage , cannot crit?

45/10 = 4.5 DPR

Shield Bash - 45, 10 rage 12 sec cooldown, cannot crit?

45/10 = 4.5 DPR

Concussion Blow - weapon dmg, 15 rage, 45 sec cooldown. This now happens instead of your next attack, it does not seem to generate rage. So realistically this ability has a negative DPR but the stun is still nice.

Intercept - 95, 15 rage, 30 sec cooldown, I imagine this can't crit?

95/15= 6.3 DPR

Mocking Blow - 93, 10 rage, 2 minute cooldown, cannot crit?

93/10 = 9.3 DPR

Final efficiency ranking (at highest skill rank):

1. Overpower (67 Damage Per Rage)

2. Sweeping Strikes (50 DPR) (vs. 2, more when stacked with other specials)

3. Whirlwind (48 DPR) (vs. 4)

4. Execute (40 DPR +15 DPR each addl rage)

5. Cleave (35 DPR) (vs. 2)

.

.

6. Slam (25.8 DPR) *Interruptable*

7. Mortal Strike (20 DPR)

8. Rend (19.6 DPR)

.

.

9. Revenge (12.8-15.6 DPR)

10. Thunder Clap (12.3 DPR) (vs. 4)

11. Mocking blow (9.3 DPR)

.

12. Heroic Strike (4.1-8.3 DPR)

13. Intercept (6.3 DPR) (still damn useful)

14(Tie). Shield Bash/ Hamstring (4.5 DPR)

15. Concussion blow (<0 DPR) (still useful)
