A new group from Harrogath rocked Sanctuary today with the release of their single, [1] Starlight on Mount Arreat. The group is Iron Frenzy, a barbshop quartet (you may groan now) formed by Ip, Ulf, Ugg and Thog.
With the release of their single, they've already gotten many fans.
"I just love Iron Frenzy," squeals one such person, who asked to stay anonymous. "I'm their biggest fan. It's just so inspirational. I felt so great after listening to their song, like I was on top of the world or something. And I've got to get a poster of that Thog."
Despite their success, not everyone is happy with Iron Frenzy's music.
"Rakanishu!" says Snot Eater the Hungry, one of the group's critics. "Not like song. Song hurt ears. How can listen to song if have headache? Rakanishu!"
Cold Flame the Mad was even more opposed: "Frankly, it scares me. How can kids these days listen to devil music like that? When I was their age, we still had wholesome music. Now, anyone can just yell around a lot and call it a song. I hear those freaks intend to wave knives around during their concerts, too. It's all pure shock value. Praise be to Diablo, Lord of Terror."
Some opponents are even turning violent. "Me hate them," grunts Gore Maul the Mauler. "Me angry. Me smash them. When dead, me not angry."
Iron Frenzy declined to comment on this.
It's not yet clear if they intend to release another song. Ip said, however, that if they did, they would likely look for a drummer first.
Shortly after the release of their hit single, [2] Starlight on Mount Arreat,

Iron Frenzy had started work on a second song. While Starlight had used only vocals, this new song had a percussion accompaniment and even a drum solo.
"Ugg like drums," Ugg explained. "Smash drums like smash skulls of enemies. Make good sound."
Unfortunately, the song was never completed. Just weeks after the release of Starlight, before the release of the their second single, artistic differences forced Iron Frenzy to split up.
However, now, over a year after that fateful decision, an early version of the song has surfaced. Though the song will never be finalized, fans of Iron Frenzy may be happy to hear a glimpse of what might have been.
The song is called [3]Crystalline Echoes.
