Finding a Crafter
One of the guild functions is a sorting system accessible through the guild panel.
With it you can see who's on, who's representing, where they are (roughly) and most relevantly for this article, what their various craft skills are.
It's been suggested this is an excellent way to find a crafter to start talking to about what you need.
Unique Recipes
There are a variety of unique recipes sold (usually through karma merchants) which are not discoverable.
These recipes can be made only by crafters who have taken the time to purchase them.
