  • There is a delay between casting and meteor impact, so anticipated position of target needs to be judged, or target needs to be stationary.
  • Fire damage is applied within radius upon impact, while a pyre containing static missiles applying fire bit rate every frame is created within that radius. Displayed fire damage per second assumes three of these missiles apply damage to target (bit rate*3*5/256). However, these missiles are size 2 and not interlocking, so it is possible that 2/3, 1/3 or even none of the displayed fire damage per second will be applied.
  • Due to the magnitude of the meteor damage it is not worth investing skill points in Inferno for the synergy bonus increasing the pyre's fire damage per second. However, since unit damage regeneration does not apply when as little as 1 bit (1/256 point) damage is applied in a frame, units that are not Immune to Fire will not regenerate while positioned over fire.
