This aura causes the Paladin to shine with an inner, holy light. This light is an anathema to the undead, summoned as they are through the machinations of the Prime Evils. The aura carries with it the essence of life and the strength and purity of the Paladin's convictions.

- Radial magic damage is only applied to hostile undead once every two seconds. If a hostile undead is within the radius of multiple auras, then the radial magic damage of all of them is applied.
Overlay when undead are within radius.
- Magic Resist isn't pierced: MR % will reduce radial magic damage, and Immune to Magic undead won't be damaged.
- All eligible hostile undead within radius will be knocked back.
- Does not knock back or apply radial magic damage to undead bosses Griswold and Radament. [1]
- + AR Against Undead and +% Damage to Undead aren't applied. [2]
- Damage Resist of undead is pierced: the supplier's physical damage is applied as though undead have DR 0%, even when Immune to Physical. However, DR % is not pierced when calculating Crushing Blow damage: CB remains completely ineffective against Immune to Physical undead. [3] [4]
- Since DR of undead is pierced after DR -% from Amplify Damage or Decrepify is applied, it's redundant when DR <= 0%: if AD or Decrepify don't result in DR <= 0%, then they are redundant. [5]
- Piercing of hostile undead DR only applies to the supplier's physical damage and not to that of allies: it also applies to undead targets beyond its radius.
