% Bonus to Attack Rating is applied to the sum of the following:
- Attack Rating
- Attack Rating (Based on Character Level)
- Attack Rating Against Demons/Undead
Should -% Attack Rating (AR) from Taunt result in negative values, AR is set to 0 and the negative value is subtracted from Defense (resulting in an increase). However, since 0/(0+DR) always equals 0 regardless of defense rating, this has no practical effect: chance to hit is always reduced to its 5% floor, regardless of level difference.
Combat Shrine applies +200% Attack Rating after +% Attack Rating applied by other sources: this means a player character with +200% AR before activating a Combat Shrine will multiply AR by nine ( ( (100+200)/100) * ( (100+200)/100) ), not five ( (100+200+200) /100) after activating it. [1]
