Grathnyz is an Undead Mage. I got depressed over a complete lack of an Alterac Valley instance on Stormrage so decided to start a toon on Tichondrius.
All Talent points went into Arcane up to and including level 30. At level 30, I had 5 in Arc Missiles, 5 in Arcane Concentration, 1 in Imp Arc Explosion, 5 points in IAE, 2 points in Arcane Focus, 2 points in Imp Counterspell and 1 point in Presence of Mind. I've taken the plunge and gone down the Fire path. I've taken 5 points in Imp Fire Ball to increase my DPS for my bread and butter spell. 4 points have gone into Impact because stun is cool. 1 point in Flame Throwing for more range, and 1 point in Ignite to see if I can get an Ignite chain going.
I'll probably leave 1 point in Ignite until I notice Ignite chains. SO far it seems that things just die too fast.
So, the short term plan is Flame Throwing, Impact, Ignite, Pyroblast (maybe), Imp Flamestrike. After level 50 I should be able to get Critical Mass then Fire Power.
At 60 I may well spec out of IFb/Pyro into a Scorch build. I'm very much enjoying Scorch recently so, we'll see. I'd want at least 18 points in Arcane and 20 points in Fire before I respecced. This means I can think about it at level 47.
