Stuff to do in the windy city: (gathered from this thread) I'll organize this better in days to come, just trying to get it all on one page right now.
- Navy Pier
- Six Flags
- just a note, six flags isn't right in chi-town. it's like 30-45 minutes north of the city
- Sears Tower Skydeck
- Shedd Aquarium
- Magnificent Mile
- Chinatown
- Museum of Science and Industry
- Lincoln Park Zoo
- Baseball
- June 21 - Chicago White Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- June 22 - Chicago White Sox vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- June 23 - Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros
- June 24 - Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros
- June 25 - Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros
- (can't find Cubs dates yet)
- Any of those White Sox matchups should be decent to watch (US Cellular Field is a bandbox, so there should be lots of offence in those games), I personally don't care if we go to one or not. Remember, the b33r will be cheaper elsewhere (Ophidian)
- Sadly tickets for Wrigley field tend to be both expensive and tough to come by. Sux tickets are usually pretty easy to find from scalpers at face value or less on any given day. (Meorum)
- As far as stuff to do, if you like theater, there's always something going on at Second City, Blue Man Group(i think they're still around - will look into) along with lots of other shows. Greek Town, China Town and Little Italy for food, all the links TPJ listed above for museums, plus the Field Museum and Adler Planatarium. Rollerblading/biking along the lake, beach volleyball, plus various other outdoor sports.A good website to find different events is Choose Chicago (Basbakhan)
- Blue Man Group: They're still at the Briar Street Theater for an “undetermined length of stay”. (Theater-speak for indefinitely, or at least as long as it continues to consistently sell out.)(ortliebj)
- I no longer know the light guy (he moved to NYC), but I have seen the show twice and it is fantastic: [[1](ortliebj)
