Not so simple is mastering the art of throwing two weapons simultaneously and accurately. Many young Barbarians are eager to learn this skill, for they will tell you it is concrete proof that they have risen to greatness as a warrior. In truth, they use this skill in tavern games almost as often as they do in battle, winning wagers from unsuspecting drunkards. Detail Stat Value +% Attack Rating 10 + (10*slvl) +% Damage (D2R only) 8 + (8*slvl) +% Damage 8*Double Swing.blvl Two weapons are thrown at a single target. If target is not selected, none is automatically selected. Although javelins are long range weapons capable of hitting any target visible on screen (and beyond), throwing axes and throwing knives are both medium range weapons which are only capable of hitting targets within ~14 2/3 yard radius. Mana cost is applied once for each weapon attack in the sequence, so displayed mana cost is double: can be used with 1 mana even though it will cost 2 mana. Character screen calculates damage by applying +% Damage from Double Swing synergy and Throwing Mastery separately to other +% Damage sources, when damage is actually calculated by adding them to other +% Damage sources. Consequently displayed damage can be up to three times higher than actual damage. [1] Unlike Bow and Crossbow Skills, Double Throw +% Attack Rating is applied. [2] [3] Source Skill bonus +(1-3) Double Throw (Barbarian Only) cannot normally spawn on ilvl >11 primal helms.
