Alterac Valley
Alterac Valley is a 40 man Battleground. There are many parts to the battleground, including Graveyards and Mines that may be taken from the Enemy, Towers that can be destroyed and Elite mobs that can be summoned to fight for your faction.
One key feature of Alterac Valley is obtaining reputation with the Alterac Valley natives. Higher levels of reputation allow you to purchase rare or even epic items from the faction vendor outside the instance.
