SnowDog: Here's my thought on a new backup healer build. It's pretty similar to the main healer build, I guess. I would think that you'd want to do half of holy first, then get consecration, then back to fill out holy. A L55 character with this build would have everything but Divine Strength.

Holy Talents - 30 points

  • Improved Lay on Hands - rank 1/2
  • Spiritual Focus - rank 4/5
  • Improved Holy Light - rank 3/3
  • Revelation - rank 2/2
  • Illumination - rank 5/5
  • Divine Favor - rank 1/1
  • Improved Seal of Righteousness - rank 5/5
  • Improved Flash of Light - rank 3/3
  • Sanctity Aura - rank 1/1
  • Divine Strength - rank 5/5

Retribution Talents - 21 points

  • Benediction - rank 5/5
  • Two-Handed Weapon Specialization - rank 5/5
  • Deflection - rank 5/5
  • Vengeance - rank 5/5
  • Consecration - rank 1/1

I think five points into Spiritual Focus is important. You could drop a point from Divine Strength or Improved Seal of Light very easilly. Also SoCrusader is total crap now. I'd only but points into Improved SoCrusader if you plan on judging it a lot. Also get SoCommand any way you can :)

The reason for only going to 4 in Spiritual Focus is that we are always running maxxed Concentration Aura. 4 points in SF gives 104% chance to not lose casting time.

I think a point into SoCo would not be a bad idea at all.--Jini 09:57, 4 Jun 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

I'm pretty sure Spiritual Focus and Concentration don't stack that way. It checks twice so if SF give 56% and Concentration is 50% you would have a 78% of not being interupted.
