Act 2
Radament's Lair
- Objective
- Find and eliminate Radament.
- General Notes
- Radament can be found on the third level of the Sewers. There are many Burning Archers on the way (whose arrows deal fire damage), so be prepared. Radament himself also surrounds himself with a horde of undead, which he will revive.
- Quest Reward
- A Book of Skill is dropped by Radament upon death, equal to the amount of players in the game who have not completed the quest.
The Horadric Staff
- Objective
- Recreate the Horadric Staff.
- General Notes
- To create the staff, you need the parts, and to put the parts together, you need the Horadric Cube. The Horadric Staff can be found on the second level of the Maggot Lair, while the Viper Amulet can be acquired from the Viper Temple. The Horadric Cube itself can be found on the third level of the Halls of the Dead.
- Quest Reward
- The Horadric Staff which you need to open Duriel's lair.
Tainted Sun
- Objective
- Destroy the Altar at the bottom of the Viper Temple
- General Notes
- The Viper Temple can be reached after progressing through the Lost City. One side effect from initiating this quest is that it will always be night time in Act II as long as the Altar has not yet been kicked. After finding the Altar, a simple left-click completes the quest.
- Quest Reward
- The Viper Amulet
The Arcane Sanctuary
- Objective
- To find the Arcane Sanctuary.
- General Notes
- You may not enter the palace until you talk to Drognan after completing the Tainted Sun quest. In the center of the third level is a portal which must be activated. After activation, enter the portal to the Arcane Sactuary.
- Quest Reward
- The location of the Arcane Sanctuary...redundant, I know.
The Summoner
- Objective
- Find the false Summoner and kill him.
- General Notes
- The Archane Sactuary consists of four legs. The false Summoner is at the end of one of them, but which one?
- Quest Reward
- Access to the The Seven Tombs and the identity of the correct tomb.
The Seven Tombs
- Objective
- Kill Duriel.
- General Notes
- Duriel can be found in one of the seven tombs. Each tomb is represented by a unique symbol, whose locations are not random and are the same for each game. The correct sign, and therefore the correct tomb in which to look for Duriel, will be shown in your Quest Log.
- Quest Reward
- Quest drop if a player needing the quest kills Duriel
