The Cleanser is a quest item, given to you by Ser Sing in Temple Station.
It is used to cleanse (destroy) the boils encountered in Angel Passage during the Scrub the Deck quest.
Although it damages everything within Angel Passage it does no damage at all to anything in any other zone.
