Guy Fawkes

2007: November 5th - 11th

Still celebrated in England, the holiday is held in remembrance of Guy Fawkes' attempt and failure to assassinate King James I on November 5th, 1605 in what is currently known as the Gunpowder Plot.

While questing around London adventurers will have the opportunity to partake in the festivities in many ways:

• Bonfire Nightmares
  The increased Demonic activity and the explosive nature of the holiday have made parts of the city erupt in flames. While in these zones adventurers have a chance to encounter special named monsters.
• Fawkes' Flameguards
  The right gloves to properly handle explosives and go with your flaming visage from Halloween.
• Grenades
  Everyone gets to join in on the explosions. Combine the hollow gourds that drop with some gunpowder and plans from the vendor and you can toss grenades, just like the Marksmen.
• Themed Recipes
  Numerous recipes and schematics crop up during the celebrations. Make sure you have some grenades on you for cooking up quick bites.
• Guy Fawkes Quests
  Three drops are needed for the Gunpowder Plot. Find the monsters hoarding those and then take on the demons before they reach Parliament
• Guy Fawkes' Legacy
  Techsmiths have been busy with armor in remembrance of Guy Fawkes. Keep an eye out.
