I've used this build in 4x4 PvP, both competition arenas and team arenas. While a protector build, it can do the healing needed for a 4x4 team. You enjoy being focused on by the full enemy team :). It worked wonders as the only monk in the group. Just try it and you'll love it. Nothing beats tanking 2-3 warriors/eles at the same time :)

Class - Monk/ranger

Runes: 1 superior protection and 1 superior divine favor

Attributes - max prot (12+3+1), divine favor at 12, beast mastery at 9

Skill setting:

1. Divine boon 2. Reversal of Fortune 3. Symbiosis 4. Protective bond 5. Balthazar spirit 6. Essence bond 7. Blessed signet 8. Life barrier

Weapon/focus: rod with 20% faster recharge divine favor skills and protective icon with +1 protection skills (20%)

Tactics.

On log, you start by trying to do a level 17 prot bond (1 energy cost on the icon)on you. Might take a few tries and a patient, non rushing team. Sometimes its on first sometimes you have to settle with a 2 energy only. I usually stop trying after a 4th/5th attempt.

Essence bond, balth spirit, boon, blessed signet. Blessed signet whenever recharged. Life Barrier on one weaker armored teammate (a plausible target) - optional but fun.

When you get close to the fighting area - symbiosis for a whooping 800-900 hp:). Build is completely viable without symbiosis but its way easier to survive with it, since prot bond will be activated less often = more mana.

In fight, if you're attacked - dont run, you dont need it. Alternate boon/rof on you for healing. Its very hard to get killed. I've been targeted by 2 heavy hammer warriors and one air spiking/ether renewal ele - no luck for them :)

To heal your teammates - booned RoF. Might seem little but its incredibly effective. If you have enough mana while being hit (happens often) use boon on yourself and RoF on others.

Of course, this build is vulnerable to enchant removals but its highly resistent to Backfire and life drains. He can ignore spiking, even without symbiosis. Mana drainers are a danger but not a huge one.

If killed and ressed or Nature popped - do a boon on yourself then use RoF on you/others. Decently effective healing.

Good luck
