- Diablo II: Resurrected was released on Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox One on September 23, 2021.
- Players can create both Classic and Expansion characters.
- Unless stated otherwise, all content of this wiki is valid for the current patch of the Expansion. Some differences between the Expansion and Resurrected are outlined below.
- Besides improved graphics, D2R introduced some Quality of Life improvements, some of which can be toggled off.
- Ladders have not been part of the original release of the game.
- There is no crossplay between different platforms.

Quality of Life
- Gold can be picked up by simply moving over it.
- The Windows version can be played via game controller instead of mouse and keyboard.
- Using game controller skill selection is much easier than via mouse and keyboard.
Item
- The Stash now contains 4 tabs, the first tab is for each character only, the three other tabs are shared between all characters on an account. Stash size is 10x10.
- Ladder-only items and Rune Words are available in single player and non-ladder games.
Quest
- The World Event is available in single player, and requires the player to sell one Stone of Jordan unique ring.
Area
- Contrary to CLassic and the Expansion, the Moo Moo Farm can be accessed even after killing the Cow King.
