|
Early on, Necromancers learn to control the skeletal remains of deceased creatures. Invoking this skill causes a nightmarish jumble of animated bones to rise from a fresh corpse. Animated partially through their own will and partially through the summoned spirits of ancient warriors, Necromancers often maintain a small host of these reanimated soldiers to do their bidding.

- Level used in chance to hit calculations and in determining attack and defense rating is caster level at point of casting.
- Stats are set at point of casting, although the number of Necroskeletons is determined by current skill level: switching weapons may result in loss of Necroskeletons, even when switching to equipment supplying the same skill bonuses.
- A Necroskeleton only has 3% Chance to Block with a shield, otherwise it cannot block. Arrows will still be lodged in its shield arm even without a shield, so this is not an indication one is present. [1]
- Summon Resist applies.
- + Life from Skeleton Mastery is applied before +% Life from Raise Skeleton itself. Skill description incorrectly calculates total Life by applying + Life from Skeleton Mastery after +% Life from Raise Skeleton.
- 15 frame AI delay in all difficulty levels lengthens the interval between consecutive attacks, affecting attack speed.
- D2R: caster's Physical Immunity Sundered is applied.
