Assassination Talents (21 points)
Malice - 5/5 points Increases your critical strike chance by 5%. Very good.
Improved Eviscerate - 3/3 points Increases the damage done by your Eviscerate ability by 15%. Awesome.
Murder - 2/2 points Increases your chance to hit while using your Sap, Ambush, Garrote, or Cheap Shot abilities by 5%. Very good for Ambush/Sap in partcular. You want these abilities to land.
Ruthlessness - 3/3 points Gives your finishing moves a 60% chance to add a combo point to your target. Situationally useful.
Lethality - 5/5 points Increases the damage done by your critical strikes by 50% when using the Sinister Strike, Gouge, Backstab, Ambush, Ghostly Strike, or Hemorrhage abilitiy. High crit rate is very good.
Relentless Strikes - 1/1 point Your finishing moves have a 20% chance per combo point to restore 25 energy. More energy! Gives you a better chance of killing your enemy if your ambush/backstab/evis doesn't kill him outright.
Remorseless attack - 1/5 point 20% more damage for the next attack after a kill. Needed 1 more point for Cold Blood. This will be situationally usefull when clearing out the yard trash.
Cold Blood - 1/1 point When activated, your next Sinister Strike, Backstab, Ambush, or Eviscerate is guaranteed a critical strike. Very, very useful.
Combat Talents (8 points)
Improved Sinister Strike - 2/2 points
Reduces the Energy cost of your Sinister Strike ability by 5 Energy.
Simple. Its 2 points and it makes your most used skill cheaper. Probably the best first tier talent.
Improved Gouge - 3/3 points Increases duration of your Gouge effect by 1.5 seconds. Needed 3 more points to get to Improved Backstab and better CC is good.
Improved Backstab - 3/3 points Increases the critical strike chance of your Backstab ability by 30%. More crits!
Subtlety Talents (22 points)
Master of Deception - 5/5 points Reduces the chance enemies have to detect you while in Stealth mode. More effective than Master of Deception (Rank 4) Better than the other 2 entry level subtlety talents. You aren't going to catch anything while stealthed anyway and a shorter stealth timer isnt that great.
Opportunity - 5/5 points Increases the damage dealt when striking from behind with your Backstab, Garrote, or Ambush abilities by 20%. More damage for 2 key skills.
Improved Ambush - 3/3 points Increases the critical strike chance of your Ambush ability by 40%. Even better than Improved backstab! Lets Cold Blood be saved for Backstab or Evisceration.
Initiative - 5/5 points Gives you a 75% chance to add an additional combo point to your target when using your Ambush, Garrote, or Cheap Shot ability. More combo points = faster, bigger evis. Also great if you go for the cheapshot-kidneyshot stun combo.
Improved Sap - 3/3 points Adds a 90% chance to return to stealth mode after using your Sap ability. Good Instance Group skill.
Preparation - 1/1 point When activated, this ability immediately finishes the cooldown on your other Rogue abilities. This lets you do NASTY things with vanish and cold blood. Ambush, Backstab, Cold Blood, Evis, Vanish, Preparation, Cold Blood, Ambush, Vanish.... You get the idea.
