|
Hunting and fighting during the night and in the deepest darkness is a necessary skill to any daughter of the Amazon islands. Devoted disciples of Athulua can, with great difficulty and strict discipline, train themselves to fire their arrows at targets blindly, as if the hand of Athulua herself guided the arrows. As might be imagined, this is an art that the Sisters of the Sightless Eye have long envied and yet have never replicated.

- Seeks a target within its search radius and will track it as long as it is still within that radius whenever the arrow checks for its position.
- While level >28 costs 1 Mana, level >32 can be used with no Mana.
- Normal Attack's attack rate is used.
- Although it has the same velocity as all other arrows and bolts it does not expire for 5.12 seconds (128 frames), compared to just 2 seconds (50 frames) for crossbow bolts, Multiple Shot and Strafe, 0.8 seconds (20 frames) for Cold Arrow and 1.6 seconds (40 frames) for all other arrows. This means it can travel at least 2.56 times further than anything else, and 3.2 times further than most. [1]
- Target must be within line of sight, so it cannot target monsters around corners even if they are within its search radius. If target moves behind an obstacle, it will not move around that obstacle.
- When a selected target is killed, the player stops firing and any arrows fired before death and impact keep travelling in a straight line without hitting anything. If a selected target moves out of range, the player keeps firing but won't hit anything.
- If a target isn't selected, one is chosen within its search radius when it reaches its destination: a Unique monster will normally be targeted before its minions, even if the minions are closer. If there is no target within its search radius it will travel in a straight line and hit anything in its path. [2]
 Although the Amazon is aiming closer to the Dark Ranger, she doesn't quite have line of sight and thus the nearest minion is targeted. However, when she moves so that the Unique is within line of sight, it is targeted even when aiming much closer to the minions. The arrow can turn as much as 180° as long as the target is within the player's line of sight and the arrow's search radius.
- Always hits but it can still be blocked.
- Pierce no longer applies, but it will pass through any unit(s) between the player and the target without hitting anything other than the target.
