Rogue Utility Abilties
This page contains information about the various Utility abilities for the Rogue class.
Crowd Control Abilities
Sap
Mezz effect. Must be stealthed. Only works on Humanoids that are not in combat. Only 1 target may be sapped at a time.
Removes the rogue from stealth. The Improved Sap talent gives a the rogue up to a 90% chance to stay in stealth.
Rank 1 (lvl 10): 25 seconds
Rank 2 (lvl 28): 35 seconds
Rank 3 (lvl 48): 45 seconds
Kick
Interrupts spellcasting, and prevents any spell in that school from being cast for 5 sec. Insta-cast, use anytime, 10 second cooldown.
Damage:
Rank 1 (lvl 12): 15
Rank 2 (lvl 26): 30
Rank 3 (lvl 42): 45
Rank 4 (lvl 58): 80
Blind
Blinds the target, causing it to wander at 40% of move speed confused for up to 10 sec. Any damage caused will remove the effect. Obtained at lvl 34, requires a reagent, Blinding Power, which can be made 3:1 from Fadeleaf using the poison skill.
Defensive Abilties
Evasion
The rogue's dodge chance will increase by 50% for 15 sec. Insta-cast, 5 min cooldown.
Sprint
Lasts 15 sec, usable while stealthed.
Increase speed by:
Rank 1 (lvl 10): 50%
Rank 2 (lvl 34): 60%
Rank 3 (lvl 58): 70%
===Feint=== - Reduced aggro for one target.
===Parry=== - Passively stops a percentage of incoming attacks from dealing any damage.
===Vanish=== - Instant stealth.
===Dodge=== - Stops a percentage of incoming attacks from dealing any damage.
Other Utility Abilities
===Stealth=== - Allows a Rogue to move with a chance of being unseen.
===Pick Pocket=== - Allows a rogue to get an extra loot roll on a mob.
- Is only possible on humanoid mobs.
- Possible to obtain lockboxes that will raise your Pick Lock skill.
===Pick Lock=== - Allows a Rogue to open a locked item.
===Distract=== - Causes a mob to turn to face a direction of the Rogue's choice.
===Detect Traps=== - Hidden traps will become visible for 3 min. Obtained at lvl 24.
===Disarm Trap=== - Obtained at lvl 30.
