The resulting detonation not only allows her to damage her intended target, but also anything caught within the explosive blast. The sight of a full battalion of Amazon archers firing a volley of such arrows is eerily beautiful. Many warriors, having witnessed good friends consumed by the flames of these arrows, vow never to fight against Amazon warriors ever again. A successful hit-check is required for Pierce to be effective: an arrow that pierces four targets and hits five will explode on each impact. 95% chance to hit with 100% piercing results in approximately 81.5% chance of a single arrow piercing four times and applying explosion damage up to five times each to targets that are close enough together. Normal Attack's attack rate is used. Exploding Arrow's +% Attack Rating is not applied, even though the character screen calculates and displays AR as though it is. Skill damage is only applied by the explosion, while attack fire damage (including that from Enchant and Holy Fire) is added to both the arrow and the explosion. +% Fire Skill Damage only applies to skill damage.
