Diablo II Notation Basic Class Skill Item Ally Quest Area Monster Tale All Skills Fire Skills Skill bonus Oskill Aura Equipped Charges Charged suffix Chance to Cast On Attack On Striking When Struck When You Die Kill an Enemy Level-up Chance to Cast on Attack gives a percentage chance to use a skill whenever the equipping player character, mercenary or pet uses a melee attack, even when that attack misses or gets blocked, or if Dodge, Evade or Weapon Block are successful. It is not applied when using a ranged attack or missile weapon (Amazon bow, bow or crossbow), except when a Werewolf or Werebear is using a missile weapon with a melee attack. It is applied by Blade Shield, although it is applied as on Striking. Charged Bolt and Frozen Orb are cast at the target from the user's location; all other skills below are cast at or from the target's location. Sorceress skill On Attack suffixes can spawn on magic, rare and crafted items. On Attack suffixes are in the same affix group as on Striking, When Struck and charged suffixes.
