The Summoner is the Cabalist class focusing on summoning and improving various beasts.

Skills

Note that the skills and any of their properties may change in time for the game's release!

The Summoner use the following skill groups: Mind Power, Elemental, Minion, and Minion Commands.

Skills marked in a light color are shared with the Evoker.

Mind Power

A Summoner can manipulate her surroundings with a powerful mind.

Skill	Requirements	Description
Afterlife		Heals self with nearby corpses.
Word of Fear		Causes demons around the Cabalist to flee.
Blood Surge	Afterlife 2	Exchanges 25% health for power.
Drain Life	Afterlife 2	Steals life from enemies.
Brom's Curse	Drain Life 2	Curses a group of enemies to heal their attackers.
Blink	Blood Surge 1	Teleports the Cabalist a short distance.

Elemental

Elementals are quickly summoned, but unlike minions, is maintained by and drains some of the Summoner's power. The Elemental will be unsummoned if the Summoner runs out of power to support it. The Summoner can maintain several Elementals at once; actually it could be argued that he's supposed to. A Summoner geared for this business could according to Flagship Studios' last word on this maintain about a dozen of Elementals at once!

Minions

Minions are in some ways more "advanced" than Elementals, but instead less quickly cast. Each minion besides the Reaper come with two support skills, giving the Summoner an ability to deepen the occult research and empower the various demons. Like Elementals, minions are summoned out of thin air. Summoners can control multiple demons, but these limits may change in time for the game's release.
