The Engineer is the Hunter class focusing on constructing and upgrading devices such as sentry droids.

The Engineer uses the following skill groups: Tactical, Combat, Grenade, Precision Strike, Bots, and Drones. Skills in italics below are shared with the Marksman. Numbers in parentheses are the number of skill points required in a skill's required skill. The numbers in the leftmost column are the level requirements.

Inhibitor Bots

These autonomous robots emit force beams at approaching enemies, slowing their movement. The Engineer may only control two types of bots at a time.

  • This skill decreases your enemies movement speed by 15 + 5 * SkillLevel percent. The rate of use is 30.0 seconds.

Construct Drone

The Engineer constructs an anotomously motivated Drone to accompany him on the battlefield. The machine is equipped with a build-in laser, but several retrofit options exist to enhance the base model.

  • Rate of Use: every 20.0 seconds
  • This skill increases the Drone's health by 25 * SkillLevel-1 percent. The rate of use is 20.0 seconds.

Beacon

The Hunter paints an enemy with infra-red light, highlighting weaknesses in the target's defenses.

Rocket Bot

This combat support robot launches rockets at the Engineer's targeted enemy. The Engineer may only control two types of bots at a time.

Medpak Retrofit

By implementing an automated micro-injector system on the Drone, it can heal the Engineer and allies in the heat of battle.

Repair Drone

The Engineer can repair a drone using a little elbow grease and a heavy wrench. Heals drone for 50% of its maximum health.

  • This skill decreases the rate of use to 20 * 0.715^SkillLevel-1 seconds. The skills range is 20.0 meters.

Level 10

Rapid Fire

A 3-second burst that increases damage by 10% and greatly increases rate of fire at the cost of weapon accuracy. The Hunter remains stationary while using this attack. Cannot be used while in Tactical Stance.

  • Rate of Use: every 10.0 seconds
  • For Hunters this skill increases the Rate of Fire by 85 + 15 * SkillLevel percent.

The Hunter marks an area for a precision strike that is designed to cause optimal amounts of concussive damage.

  • Stun Attack Strength increases with Player Level
  • Engineer Rate of Use: every 30.0 seconds
  • This skill increases the Stun Attack Strength by 120 + 30 * PlayerLevel.
  • This skill increases the Stun Duration by 2 + 1 * SkillLevel.
  • No formula yet for the physical damage. Representative values:
    • 27-34 physical damage/second at level 10
    • 35-43 physical damage/second at level 15
    • 85-106 physical damage/second at level 50

Concussive Crash

The Engineer commands the Inhibitor Bots to crash into a targeted enemy and detonate. The forceful blast stuns enemies in the area of effect.

Gun Retrofit

Level 15

Escape

The Hunter activates a cloaking device to become virtually invisible to enemies for a short amount of time. Attacking deactivates the cloaking effect.

Molotov Assault

The Engineer commands a Rocket Bot to collide with a targeted enemy and detonate. The ensuing explosion creates a field of fire and may ignite enemies in the area of effect.

Tactical Mode

Level 20

Shock and Awe

The Hunter marks an area for a precision strike that results in a barrage of electrostatic explosions in the area of effect.

  • Barrage lasts for 10 seconds
  • Shock Attack Strength increases with Player Level
  • Rate of Use: every 30.0 seconds
  • Electrical damage is a function of both player level and skill level
  • This skill increases the Ignite Attack Strength by 40 + 10 * PlayerLevel.

Sword Retrofit

Through clever manipulation of armatures and micro-server motors, the Engineer has altered the Drone so it can wield a melee weapon. The Drone's armament assumes the damage and effects of the added weapon.

Phase Grenade

Nanobots
