Finding a Crafter
One of the guild functions is a sorting system accessible through the guild panel.
With it you can see who's on, who's representing, where they are (roughly) and most relevantly for this article, what their various craft skills are.
It's been suggested this is an excellent way to find a crafter to start talking to about what you need.
Unique Recipes
There are a variety of unique recipes sold (usually through karma merchants) which are not discoverable.
These recipes can be made only by crafters who have taken the time to purchase them.
What is a Basin Artisan
A new rank called "Basin Artisan".
This rank indicates someone who is willing to craft items for other Basiners who for whatever reason, can't craft their own items. To be considered for this rank, we ask that you have already demonstrated a commitment to crafting, in the form of having reached at least level 225 in a crafting profession, and be willing to take the time to assist others in determining what materials they would need to make a certain item, and to craft those items for them at a mutually convenient time.
Those requesting items would provide the materials, and the Basin Artisans would provide their time.
